Wayne Hodgins is Autodesk's "strategic futurist" and posts regularly to his blog, Off Course – On Target. He wanted to expand his site to include user-contributed content and to experiment with cutting-edge ways of communicating with his readers.
We chose Drupal as the base framework for his new site, because it comes with both blog and wiki capabilities, is easy to customize, and the Drupal community's extensions made it easy to add many of the features we wanted.
We also created a logo and and a site design that reflected Wayne's themes and his standing as a futurist. The design includes sliding panels that allow us to provide more information in less space.
