Awards

Members of the Tiger Heron team have won awards from the Society for Technical Communication (STC) at regional and international levels for their technical documentation, marketing materials and Web site designs.

2006—2007

Sandy Profeta (author), Tony Freixas (graphic designer) and Jenny Greenleaf (editor) received an STC Award of Merit for the DAISY Daisy Chart 3.2 manual written for ODS Health Plans.

2004–2005

Sandy Profeta (author), Kayo Parsons-Korn (graphic and DHTML designer), and Tony Freixas (Web developer) designed a coordinated Web site and marketing brochure, both of which won Awards of Distinguished Technical Communication (the highest award given) at the regional level. In addition, the brochure won an award at the STC's International Competition.

2002–2003

Sandy Profeta (author), Kayo Parsons-Korn (graphic designer), and Holly Williams (editor) won an STC Award of Excellence for the DAISY Getting Started guide written for ODS Health Plans.

2001–2002

Sandy Profeta (author), Kayo Parsons-Korn (graphic designer), and Jenny Greenleaf (editor) received an Award of Distinguished Technical Communication at both the regional and international competitions for Take Note! 10 Steps to Success with Logician Internet, a quick reference guide.

Sandy Profeta (author), Donna Neerhout (Web developer), and Connie Dyer (project lead) received an Award of Excellence for the Logician Internet 1.5 Online Tutorial.

Sandy Profeta (author), Kris Maneely (usability specialist), Bev Arnoldy (usability specialist), and Kayo Parsons-Korn (graphic and DHTML designer) received an Award of Merit for the Logician Internet product registration and download Web site.
